The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Excmo. Sr. Kassim Majaliwa, received today the Deputy Minister First of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Marcelino Medina González, who carries out an official visit to that country.
During the meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the good state of bilateral relations and reaffirmed the will to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries.
The Cuban Foreign Deputy Minister First recalled the friendship between the historical leaders of both countries, Julius Nyerere and Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, and highlighted that the recent opening of the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Cuba is an example of the will of both governments to strengthen bilateral dialogue and exchange.
